Breast Cancer Awareness Month Highlights
Many of you have asked about how Jefferson Health featured my story in their October Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaign. So I thought I would share the highlights here (see links below).
I have to say, it was such a joy to brag about my incredible Jefferson care team, who I’ve truly come to love. They are not only gifted professionals but also genuinely wonderful humans. I hope they feel celebrated and appreciated for their faithful, selfless day-in-day-out work that they do quietly, behind the scenes, often with no recognition. What a privilege to know them. Relationships with these dear people—even if only for a season—are some of the unexpected gifts God gave me through this unchosen cancer journey.
The marketing team was also a delightful group! And as you’ll see from the campaign pictures, our 9-year-old mini goldendoodle, Duke, completely stole the show. They couldn’t get enough of him during the photoshoot at our house, so it’s no surprise that out of hundreds of pictures, they chose the ones featuring him—he is really cute! 🐶
